Professional Pet Sitter

Devin was born into an animal loving family! Growing up she trained and showed horses and worked at her family's equestrian center. She worked as a Veterinary Assistant and Kennel Technician for about 5 years, which led her to pet sitting for clients at the animal hospital. She moved from SC to Hawaii in 2008, where she continued her Vet Asst. career for one more year and started pet sitting for local residents. In 2010 she opened Ohana Pet Sitters so she could continue doing what she loves- working with animals! In 2011, Devin began studying with the Northwest School of Animal Massage to be a Certified Small Animal Massage Practitioner. She earned her certificate in Maintenance Massage and then Rehabilitative Massage Therapy so she could further enrich the lives of Big Island pets! She has experience with dogs, cats, parrots, horses/livestock, exotic animals and the list continues!  She currently has two dogs, a Saluki mix (Lomi Lomi) and a Chihuahua (Delilah).

Kay has been raising and training animals her entire life. She owned Shalimar Horse Center, a very successful equestrian facility in SC, for nearly 25 years. During that time, she also trained and showed Jack Russell Terriers and Dobermans. When Kay wasn't at the barn, she worked as an Animal Caretaker at Auldbrass Plantation. She was in charge of caring for all of the domesticated and exotic animals at the plantation (like Zebras, Lynx, Antelope, etc.). When she sold Shalimar, she started working as a Veterinary Assistant and met pet owners searching for sitters qualified to administer medications... this introduced her to the wonderful world of professional pet sitting. She moved to Hawaii in 2008 and began working for the Dept of Homeland Security, but continues pet sitting with Devin. She has experience with dogs, cats, horses/livestock, parrots, and exotic animals, to name a few! She currently owns two birds, a young Cockatiel (Olive) and a canary!

The Pet Sitters
Regina began professionally working with animals in 2002 as a pet sitter and Veterinary Assistant. She moved to Hawaii in 2008 with her 9 pets and began working for a local veterinary hospital, where she met Devin. Regina’s passion for helping animals shines through her everyday life. She is a long-time Advocats volunteer, feeding local feral cat colonies and assisting with spay and neuter clinics. She also serves the community as a foster parent for The Humane Society and takes in animals that need a good start to life and helps find them loving homes. Additionally, Regina runs a canine club where she connects pets and people with the goal of enhancing life “pawsitively.” When she’s not saving the world one dog and cat at a time, you can find her at home tending to her own menagerie, designing pet furniture and living the aloha dream.
